Chandelier Lighting

Nowadays, there are many types of chandelier to choose from. Unfortunately, when choosing a chandelier, people would be confused on what kinds of chandeliers they should take since there are many options, and each one stands for a unique style. It's better look before you leap.

Foyer Chandeliers

To decide where to place your entryway chandelier, the first step is to take stock of your space. The chandelier should be in the center of the space, in most cases directly in line with the front door to appear balanced.

Height: The height of your chandelier should reflect the height of your ceilings. Many designers recommend that for each additional foot of ceiling height you should add about three inches to the suspension height.

Dining Room Chandeliers

Chandeliers, especially farmhouse chandeliers and rustic chandeliers, are perfect for a kitchen table and dining table, adding a timeless dining accents. The most vital things to consider when hanging a chandelier above a dining room table are height, size, and placement of the fixture.

Size: Choose a chandelier that has a diameter 2/3 or 1/3 of the table’s width. This will ensure that no guest bumps their head while leaving from the table.

Height: Designers say that the bottom of the chandelier should hang no less than between 30 and 36 inches or even higher from the top of the table.

Placement: Chandeliers are suggested to be centered and hung in the middle of the dining table. If one chandelier is too small, you might need another one and place them in a line parallel with the table’s longest side, and basically the width between chandeliers are better 1/2-2/3 of the width of the dining table.

Living Room Chandeliers

For a well-balanced look, place the chandelier at the center of the living space. Since this space sees a high level of traffic, make sure to hang the chandelier at least 7 feet above the ground. It would be a good idea to place a chandelier directly above a coffee table or large ottoman.

Master Bedroom Chandeliers

The bedroom is where you start and end your day, so you better make sure that you have sufficient light that meets the desired ambiance for your space. The right bedroom chandeliers will provide enough illumination, while fitting the mood of your areas.

Chandeliers might be the best choice for your bedroom lighting since they can make a lasting impression on your room. Whether you want dazzling elegance that light up the room or a minimalist design that exudes rustic charm, chandeliers just might be the perfect option for your master bedroom.

Kitchen Island Chandeliers

Kitchen areas are not only just a place of preparing food, but also a place for chatting and entertaining.

We generally recommend that the width or diameter of the chandelier should be between 1/2 and 2/3 of the width of the dining table or kitchen island, and the height over dining table or kitchen island are better higher than 30-36 inches based on your ceiling height.
